Pastor René Chandler, lost his sight in one eye before he was 18 years old and he's thankful he didn't lose his life in the same amount of time. Born and raised on the mean streets of inner city Chicago, he fought his way to the clean seats of college. He was recruited to play baseball at Central State University in Wilberforce Ohio. Upon graduation he returned to the only real life he knew... Living on the streets of Chicago. He succumbed to the lure of the streets and developed a drug and alcohol addiction. God saved him, but not inside the walls of a church. God met him where he was on the streets of Chicago and loved him back to life.
Pastor Chandler is an empathetic "street savvy" strong Spiritual leader who approaches working for the Lord in a nonjudgmental way (Matthew 7:1). God has blessed Pastor with the ability to connect with Gods people, meeting them where they are, just as the Lord met him, so that they can be brought up to the Spiritual level that God has purposed for their lives. Pastor Rene' earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Welfare from Central State University, in Wilberforce, Ohio and Master's Degrees in Pastoral Counseling and Clinical Counseling, from Central Christian University in Blytheville Ark.
